Historically, curved or semi-curved lasts have been used to build "cushioned" running shoes.
Shouldn't they all be cushioned? Straight lasts are used to build "stability" running shoes that I think are something like "motion control" running shoes, which are built on both lasts. Pretty confusing isn't it? Not if you're into marketing. At Vitruvian Running we've tossed conventional "wisdom" and gone back to the beginning and simplified it.
We believe very strongly in our approach to running shoe design and engineering.
